Laforie is originally from Alice, Texas. She attended The University of Texas in Austin, Texas where she received a B.S. in Kinesiology and Athletic Training in 2009. During her time at The University of Texas, Laforie gained valuable clinical orthopedic experience working with various Division-I collegiate athletes as a student athletic trainer. Laforie completed her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Marymount University in Arlington, VA in 2015. Laforie had the opportunity to work with pediatric, orthopedic and geriatric populations during her full time clinical rotations. In her spare time, Laforie enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, running, and cycling.
